Hi, dolls!
In today's post, I wanted to focus on the new Wishful Honey Balm Jelly moisturiser. Wishful is a skincare brand introduced to us by Huda from Huda Beauty and so far, Wishful has launched 6 products, including Yo Glow exfoliator (read my review here) and two face masks (read my review here). I decided to try out their moisturiser because I heard a lot of mixed opinions on it and wanted to test it out for myself. If you're interested to find out more about it, let's get right into the review!

Wishful Honey Balm Jelly Moisturiser 55g
£43/$49

A luxuriously textured jelly-meets-balm moisturiser infused with honey to lock-in moisture for up to 24 hours and soothe the skin. It's packed with moisturising honey, the addition of turmeric root extract helps minimise the appearance of hyperpigmentation while Niacinamide brightens and visibly reduces the appearance of pores. The soothing lavender scent creates a relaxing and calming moment to enhance daily skincare routine. Suitable for all skin types, dull and dehydrated skin. The moisturiser is cruelty-free, non-acnegenic, non-comedogenic and clean beauty.

At first, I wasn't planning to get this moisturiser as I prefer to use moisturisers with spf in it, especially to use during the day. However, after Huda released her Xmas gift sets, I ended up getting this in the mini size which I think it's a great deal money wise. I find the moisturiser to have a luminous finish which leaves my skin with a nice glow and feeling super soft. However, the moisturiser doesn't really soak into your skin but rather hydrates it while sitting on top of it. For this reason, I find it difficult to keep this on during the day because it becomes messy once you try applying makeup and I find it to work best during my night skincare routine. The lavender scent is okay for me, however seeing as this is a Honey Balm moisturiser, I actually expected it to smell like a honey - I think that's the scent I would very much prefer.

Main Ingredients
  • Honey - Known to add and lock in moisture and soothe skin.
  • Lavender Oil - Known to calm, soothe and relax.
  • Niacinamide - Known as Vitamin B3, it visibly reduces the appearance of pores and uneven skin tone.
  • Turmeric Root Extract - Known to soothe skin, reduce dark spot, and even skin tone.

Final Thoughts
I'm happy that this moisturiser can be found in Huda's Xmas gift sets because this is a great way to try out this product without buying the full-size, which many can find to be expensive. Although Wishful recommends us to use this product twice a day, it's difficult to do so if you want to apply makeup on top of the moisturiser, as it doesn't really go well together. Therefore, I find myself only using this at night and even though this moisturiser works great and leaves my skin feeling super soft and hydrated, I personally wouldn't buy the full size product simply because the travel size is more than enough for me. I also wouldn't recommend this product to anyone with oily skin because you will probably find it to be super greasy on your face. Overall, I have enjoyed testing this product out as it hasn't irritated my skin in any way and I did see the benefits of it but not being able to use it in the morning before applying makeup can be annoying.

Let me know your thoughts of the Honey Balm Jelly moisturiser down below in the comments.

Hi, dolls!

In today's blog post, I wanted to review another of my favourite fragrances - the Saint fragrance by KVD. It was first released in 2009 with a different bottle design, however in 2017, KVD decided to bring it back as it was their most requested product of all time. KVD fragrance line consists of two perfumes - Saint and Sinner. Out of the two, Saint was the one I fell in love with but if you won't find this scent to suit you, definitely check out the other one! Fragrances released in 2017 have the same original scents as they had back in 2009 but are in redesigned bottles. If you're interested to find out more, let's get right into the review!

This post may contain affiliate links meaning that if you click on the link and purchase the item, I will receive an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. However, my reviews/opinions on products are always 100% honest and I'll only recommend items that I love!

Firstly, as mentioned already, the scent remained the same but the bottle of this fragrance has changed in the 2017 version. I wanted to show you guys the bottle comparison - I definitely prefer the newer version!

KVD Saint Eau De Parfum 30ml
£16/$18

When this fragrance first launched in 2017, its price was way higher - the 30ml bottle retailed for £45/$45! However, once Kat von D announced that she is leaving the company and the whole rebranding of KVD started to take place, their fragrances started to reduce in price - £16/$18 for 30ml. This fragrance comes in 10ml, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml, however now it's on sale and can only be found in 30ml from KVD website or 50ml as a part of gift set in the UK Debenhams. I think that this sadly means once it sells out, they won't bring it back and that would be such a shame as I truly love this scent - I'm currently on my 3rd bottle and I think I should get one more in case this doesn't come back.

As all KVD products, this fragrance is Vegan and Cruelty-Free!

Top Notes: Mirabelle, Clary Sage
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Almond Blossom
Base Notes: Vanilla, Peach, Musk

At first, you can smell the sweet, fruity scent of Mirabelle and Peach. As it settles throughout the day, it gets sweeter and you start to smell the Jasmine and Almond Blossom and its bottom note of Musk as it becomes more apparent. It's super sweet but in a very good way - it's definitely the right amount of notes mixed together to create this unique scent. I saw a lot of people comparing this fragrance to what a Spring morning would smell like and I can totally agree with it!

The bottle and packaging is also super creative and very fitting with its name. I love the idea of a white bottle for Saint and black for Sinner. Overall, I really just like the idea behind this fragrance collection.

This fragrance definitely lasts long and you don't need to spray it more than once or twice during the day - it is eau de Parfum after all. Eau de Parfum has the highest concentration of fragrance - generally having a fragrance concentration of between 15% and 20%. On average, eau de Parfum should last from four to five hours, if not more. This differs from Eau de Toilette which has a fragrance concentration of between 5% and 15%. Eau de Toilette is definitely one of the most popular types of fragrance and it is definitely cheaper than eau de Parfum (in case some of you were wondering why initially KVD fragrance price was high) but it will normally only last for two to three hours.

Final Thoughts
I am truly obsessed with this scent - I think this is the only fragrance I have repurchased so much in my life. I am currently starting my 3rd bottle and thinking of buying 4th, just in case this goes out of stock forever. I do switch in between this fragrance and my other favourites such as Kayali etc. but this scent is super unique to me, very sweet and floral but also fruity and not candy sweet which I find sometimes to be too strong. I always say it's impossible to recommend a scent if you haven't tried it out but this is definitely one you should check out in your closest store - I recommended it to two of my friends and they both got it and loved it.

Have you tried the Saint or the Sinner fragrance by KVD? Which is your favourite?

Hi, dolls!
In today's blog post, I wanted to review two products from Florence by Mills that I have been testing - Zero Chill Face Mist and the Mind Glowing Peel-off face mask. If you're interested to learn more about these two products, let's get right into the review!

Florence by Mills is a beauty brand created in 2019 by Millie Bobby Brown - every teenager's idol. Florence is about defining beauty on our own terms without rules. It's aimed at Gen Z - those that are 24 years old and younger, as Millie believes there was a gap in the market for her age group. This beauty brand is also parabens-free, sulfates-free, cruelty-free!

Zero Chill Face Mist - Rose Face Spray
£10/$10

Rose Face Spray is described as a botanical, rose-infused spray that restores good vibes when our skin has zero chill. Rose and lavender work together to give your skin a big sip of calming moisture with just one spritz. It's made with seaweed - a natural skin-soother rich in yummy nutrients and pollution-busting thyme extract.

Personally, I enjoyed using this, however definitely not as much as I like my Mario's facial sprays. It's definitely refreshing but not a must-have face mist that does incredible wonders to your skin. I think it's fair as it's targeted mainly at teenagers, but for its price, I think there are cheaper facial sprays that will hydrate your skin for much longer than this one. I think a lot of teenagers will want to get it because of Millie, so I wish it did a bit more for their skin than smelling nice and I definitely wish it had a much longer lasting effect of hydrating your skin.

Key ingredients:
- Thyme Extract: A herby ingredient chock-full of antioxidants that protect against nasties lurking in air pollution.
- Bladderwrack Seaweed: A sea plant that brings the chill and puts moisture back into dull, tired skin.
- Rose & Lavender Blend: Botanical BBFs that help balance and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

Charcoal Mind Glowing Peel-Off Face Mask
£20/$20

The Charcoal Mind Glowing Peel-Off Face Mask is described as an iridescent purple peel-off mask that helps us reset our skin after a tiring week. Purifying charcoal draws out dirt and oil while witch hazel keeps skin cute and happy. Lavender oil brings the chill vibes by calming skin.

This peel-off mask makes my skin feel moisturised and super soft, leaving it looking luminous after each use. I'm definitely not a big fan on the lavender scent of this mask - it's extremely strong and off putting, it's not those scents that I personally enjoy in facial products. I think it's a nice face mask to try out but once again, I don't think it's something I would repurchase as the mask doesn't really target any specific skin issues.

Key Ingredients:
- Charcoal Powder: An oil magnet that drags gross stuff out of pores for the ultimate detox
- Lavender Oil: A calming force that soothes angry skin to bring happier times
- Witch Hazel: An oil-balancer that helps soothe skin and keep pores clear and happy

Final Thoughts
Although I don't think I would repurchase any of the two Florence by Mills products that I have tried, I don't necessarily regret trying or buying them. They have not irritated my sensitive skin in any way and I think the only reason I did not enjoy it is because I find it to be super simple. Yes, I am aware that this is mainly targeted at teenagers, but being 22 years old, I definitely didn't see these products to bring any changes to my skin. It would have been much more fun if these skincare products were more beneficial for a young person's skin.

Have you tried anything from Florence by Mills? If so, what did you like or dislike about the brand and its products?

Hi, dolls!
You can read my 2 week update of using Kylie Skin by clicking HERE.
As promised, I'm coming back with a 6-week update on Kylie Skin and the two products that I have been testing - the Foaming Face Wash and the Vanilla Milk Toner. If you're interested to see my thoughts of these products after testing them for more than 6 weeks now, let's get right into the review!

Kylie Skin was released in 2019 by Kylie Jenner with 7 essential products for your skincare routine - makeup wipes, cleanser, toner, eye cream, moisturiser, exfoliator and serum. I always wanted to try it out however, ordering from US to UK is a nightmare as you have to pay ridiculous amounts of customs and Kylie Skin doesn't even offer free international shipping after you spend a certain amount of money. I was super excited when Kylie Skin was launched across Europe in Douglas because I travel to Europe a lot to visit family back home, so I was finally able to grab it in store myself. When asking the store assistants about Kylie Skin I was told that it's a very basic skincare line which doesn't necessary target any skin issues and is aimed at teenagers and young adults. I went to Douglas with the intention of getting the Vanilla Milk Toner but it kept being sold out in store and each time I have asked about it, the store assistants kept offering other 'better' toners in their opinions that would do much better job for my skin than Kylie. I found this weird because it felt to me as if I'm being recommended to NOT buy Kylie Skin. However, as I really wanted to try her line, I ended up ordering the two online, I also wanted to try out the moisturiser but it was sold out both in store and online.

Every Kylie Skin product is free of parabens, sulfates, and gluten. They're also all vegan, cruelty-free and dermatologist-tested.

Kylie Skin Foaming Face Wash 149ml
$24/£18

Kylie Skin Foaming Face Wash is infused with ultra-nourishing kiwi seed oil, packed with Vitamin C and E to help maintain moisture and improve elasticity. This gentle formula cleanses skin by helping to remove dirt, oil and makeup for a fresh, bright complexion. It comes in 149 ml/5 fl oz. Use it in your morning and night skincare routine. Apply it to wet skin and gently massage in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Avoid storing the product in direct light.

My Thoughts:
I wasn't planning to purchase this product and only bought it because the moisturiser was sold out but I'm so glad I did! This product became my favourite face wash that I have ever used, it's super gentle for my skin and definitely leaves my face looking super fresh and bright. I will be definitely repurchasing this product once it finishes, but after almost 6 weeks of using it, there is still 1/4 of it left. I also like its soft scent, I can almost smell the kiwi but the fragrance is so minimal in this that it did not break my skin out.

Kylie Skin Vanilla Milk Toner 236ml
$22/£17

Kylie Skin Vanilla Milk toner is a described as gentle, alcohol-free facial toner which helps to replenish the look and feel of your skin. It's formulated with avocado oil, kiwi seed oil and apple extract to help soothe, tone and restore natural hydration. This toner helps unclog, purify and minimise the appearance of pores. It comes in 236ml/8 fl oz. Use it in your morning and night skincare routine. After cleaning the skin with the foaming face wash, squeeze a small amount onto a cotton pad and sweep across skin.

My Thoughts:
Firstly, I always wanted to try out this product because it's alcohol-free and that's super important for me when it comes to face toners. Secondly, I love the toner's scent - it's a vanilla milk toner but it smells more like a coconut. My skin is super sensitive, so I was worried to use a product that has fragrance in its ingredients, however there has been no irritation or breakouts or bad reaction to it. However, it's definitely an okay toner and not one you need. I wasn't as happy with it as I was with the Foaming Face Wash and if I'm being honest, I'm not sure if I'll be repurchasing this toner, at least not for now.

Final Thoughts
I was super shocked to see so many negative reviews that Kylie Skin has received over the past year because my experience with their face products has been super positive. I have a very sensitive skin and none of their products broke my skin out or irritated me in any way. I do agree with the statement that Kylie Skin range is a very basic skincare range, targeted at teenagers and young adults and not so much at different skincare concerns, but I did enjoy using her products. Although I was more excited to grab the Vanilla Milk Toner, I ended up loving the Foaming Face Wash way more and that is definitely one product from Kylie Skin I will be repurchasing once it launches in the UK (2 more weeks!) I will be also looking into testing her other products because I truly enjoyed using her products. The toner is definitely not a must-have but I think if you do get it, you won't hate it. On the other hand, the foaming face wash is super worth it!

I hope you have enjoyed this post, let me know down in the comments which Kylie Skin product you would love to try out? Have you tried any yet?!
