YSL Pure Shots Night Reboot Serum and Airthin UV Defender Review

Hi, dolls!
Today I wanted to talk to you about the YSL Pure Shots skincare line. YSL was kind enough to gift me some of their products including the two I will be reviewing today. If you're interested to find out more, let's get right into it!

This post may contain gifted products and affiliate links meaning that if you click on the link and purchase the item, I will receive an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. However, my reviews/opinions on products are always 100% honest and I'll only recommend items that I love!

YSL's Night Reboot Serum is the flagship serum in the Pure Shots range. The formula is enriched with Moonlight Cactus flower extract which blooms for only 6 hours every year and releases its sugar during this rare occasion. The plant's rare sugar has been captured through a cold and slow extraction process designed by YSL Beauty. Night Reboot Serum's bi-phase formulation combines 3.4% Glycolic Acid with Moonlight Cactus flower extract from Morocco. The bi-phase formula consists of an oil phase that meets an exfoliation phase - a combination that both smooths and refines the feel of skin. The serum is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

The Night Reboot Serum is magical! This product has truly changed my skin for better. After each use at night, I wake up with a more glowing skin that feels super soft and hydrated. The product itself absorbs really fast into my skin and I had zero reactions to it. Although it's on the expensive side, I see myself repurchasing this serum because I am loving the results I see after using it. I'm so happy YSL was kind enough to send me the bigger bottle (50ml) as it will last me longer and I am excited to carry on using it in my night routine.

YSL Pure Shots Airthin UV Defender brings SPF 50+ daily lightweight urban protection. Airthin UV Defender SPF 50+ is enriched with Citrus Peel Extract which contains essential oils along with flavonoids and combines with Niacinamide, a form of Vitamin B. This light lotion is meant to hydrate the skin whilst protecting it from the harmful effects of UVA, UVB and urban aggressors such as dust and pollution with a formula that is 8x thinner than YSL's classic UV protections. The formula also helps to protect against premature skin ageing without leaving skin feeling greasy or sticky. It's suitable for use under makeup.

Airthin UV Defender is another YSL product I've been loving lately. It has SPF 50+ which is the ideal protection for my pale skin and it also works great as a base for my makeup. It has a very thin, milky consistency which absorbs really quickly onto my skin without leaving it feeling greasy like other SPFs tend to do.

Final Thoughts
I am really happy I was able to test out some of the YSL skincare products. I'm really impressed with both and I will continue using them in my daily routines. Although it's more expensive than the products I would usually reach for, these two are definitely worth its price and it's something I'd definitely want to repurchase. It not only looks super luxurious and pretty but also works magic on my face and I can't recommend them enough for everyone to try!
