Ariana Grande Mod Vanilla and Mod Blush Fragrance Review and Comparison
Hi, dolls!
I'm so excited to introduce to you the newest Ariana Grande fragrance duo - Mod Vanilla and Mod Blush. If you're interested to find out all about these two new scents, let's get right into the review!
This post may contain gifted products/affiliate links. However, my reviews/opinions on products are always 100% honest and I'll only recommend items that I love!
Mod Blush comes as part of Ariana's newest MOD fragrance duo that celebrates both the power of duality and the intoxicating freedom of expression. It's expressive and vibrant.
Top Notes: Passionfruit, Raspberry, Pink Pepper, Bergamot
Middle Notes: Rose, Pear, Magnolia
Bottom Notes: Musk, Dreamwood, Sandalwood, Ambroxan
Mod Blush opens with a rich blend of Italian Bergamot, passionfruit and raspberry, energised by sparkling pink pepper and soon after, we start to smell the intriguing heart notes of rose petals and magnolia accented with a touch of pear for a breathtaking evolution on skin. Once it dries down, we start to get the bottom notes of Musk, Sandalwood, Dreamwood and Ambroxan.
To me, Mod Blush is a great addition to Ariana's fragrance range as it’s not similar to anything she has done before - it's fruity, modern and energising. The opening is super refreshing with both, the Italian Bergamot and the Passionfruit being the most prominent notes of this fragrance that you can still smell once it dries down. I really like this fragrance, I think it gives a tropical juice vibes and it’s definitely more mature comparing to her first ‘sweet’ fragrances such as Ari and Sweet Like Candy.
Mod Vanilla comes as part of Ariana's newest MOD fragrance duo that celebrates both the power of duality and the intoxicating freedom of expression. It's modern, sensual and disruptive.
Top Notes: Musk, Pink Freesia, Plum
Middle Notes: Praline, Orris Root
Bottom Notes: Vanilla, Coconut
Mod Vanilla opens with a luscious blend of juicy dark plum and creamy musks heightened by a luminous touch of pink freesia. At the heart, we have the notes of Orris Butter and decadent White Praline. As it dries down, we get the indulgent Vanilla absolute and upcycled cocoa butter.
To me, this is a sensual, creamy, cosy and mature scent but not completely new to Ariana’s fragrance range. This is due to Mod Vanilla’s opening being similar to her previous God is a Woman fragrance mixed with Cloud’s DNA. I personally love it but if you already own the two, you don’t necessarily need this bottle as you can layer GIAW with Cloud instead to get a similar outcome.
Mod Vanilla or Mod Blush?
Well, it all depends on your preference!
I personally really enjoy both scents and find them to be a great duo to layer together or wear separately for different occasions. While Mod Blush is something newer to Ariana’s range with it being a fruity but mature scent, Mod Vanilla keeps the classic Cloud vibe mixed with the addition of Plum opening and creamy coconut dry down. I also love a good, unique fragrance bottle and I’m glad to see Ariana switch it up and give us something new every now and then! The colours of both bottles definitely reflect the juices and I’m really happy to have them both in my collection.
Have you tried either one of them yet? Which one is on your wish-list? Let me know down in the comments and stay tuned for my next review! xo
