Hi, dolls!
You can read my 2 week update of using Kylie Skin by clicking HERE.
As promised, I'm coming back with a 6-week update on Kylie Skin and the two products that I have been testing - the Foaming Face Wash and the Vanilla Milk Toner. If you're interested to see my thoughts of these products after testing them for more than 6 weeks now, let's get right into the review!
Kylie Skin was released in 2019 by Kylie Jenner with 7 essential products for your skincare routine - makeup wipes, cleanser, toner, eye cream, moisturiser, exfoliator and serum. I always wanted to try it out however, ordering from US to UK is a nightmare as you have to pay ridiculous amounts of customs and Kylie Skin doesn't even offer free international shipping after you spend a certain amount of money. I was super excited when Kylie Skin was launched across Europe in Douglas because I travel to Europe a lot to visit family back home, so I was finally able to grab it in store myself. When asking the store assistants about Kylie Skin I was told that it's a very basic skincare line which doesn't necessary target any skin issues and is aimed at teenagers and young adults. I went to Douglas with the intention of getting the Vanilla Milk Toner but it kept being sold out in store and each time I have asked about it, the store assistants kept offering other 'better' toners in their opinions that would do much better job for my skin than Kylie. I found this weird because it felt to me as if I'm being recommended to NOT buy Kylie Skin. However, as I really wanted to try her line, I ended up ordering the two online, I also wanted to try out the moisturiser but it was sold out both in store and online.
Every Kylie Skin product is free of parabens, sulfates, and gluten. They're also all vegan, cruelty-free and dermatologist-tested.
Kylie Skin Foaming Face Wash is infused with ultra-nourishing kiwi seed oil, packed with Vitamin C and E to help maintain moisture and improve elasticity. This gentle formula cleanses skin by helping to remove dirt, oil and makeup for a fresh, bright complexion. It comes in 149 ml/5 fl oz. Use it in your morning and night skincare routine. Apply it to wet skin and gently massage in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Avoid storing the product in direct light.
My Thoughts:
I wasn't planning to purchase this product and only bought it because the moisturiser was sold out but I'm so glad I did! This product became my favourite face wash that I have ever used, it's super gentle for my skin and definitely leaves my face looking super fresh and bright. I will be definitely repurchasing this product once it finishes, but after almost 6 weeks of using it, there is still 1/4 of it left. I also like its soft scent, I can almost smell the kiwi but the fragrance is so minimal in this that it did not break my skin out.
Key Features:
- Glycerin: A humectant that helps balance the moisture in your skin. If your skin is dry, it will draw in moisture and if your skin is oily, it will help decrease the oily appearance of your skin
- Mild, gentle cleansing ingredients: Derived from coconut. Gentle & effective
- Kiwi Seed Oil: An antioxidant. Kiwi seed oil is a rich source of Vitamin C & E that helps hydrate and brighten skin
- Lightly Fragranced
Ingredients:
Water/Aqua/Eau, Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Potassium Cocoate, Glycerin, Hydroxyacetophenone, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Citric Acid, Polyquaternium-39, Fragrance (Parfum), Sodium Benzoate, Actinidia Chinensis (Kiwi) Seed Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phenoxyethanol
Kylie Skin Vanilla Milk toner is a described as gentle, alcohol-free facial toner which helps to replenish the look and feel of your skin. It's formulated with avocado oil, kiwi seed oil and apple extract to help soothe, tone and restore natural hydration. This toner helps unclog, purify and minimise the appearance of pores. It comes in 236ml/8 fl oz. Use it in your morning and night skincare routine. After cleaning the skin with the foaming face wash, squeeze a small amount onto a cotton pad and sweep across skin.
My Thoughts:
Firstly, I always wanted to try out this product because it's alcohol-free and that's super important for me when it comes to face toners. Secondly, I love the toner's scent - it's a vanilla milk toner but it smells more like a coconut. My skin is super sensitive, so I was worried to use a product that has fragrance in its ingredients, however there has been no irritation or breakouts or bad reaction to it. However, it's definitely an okay toner and not one you need. I wasn't as happy with it as I was with the Foaming Face Wash and if I'm being honest, I'm not sure if I'll be repurchasing this toner, at least not for now.
Key Features:
- Apple Fruit Extract: An antioxidant that helps to improve the look of skin
- Squalane: A highly refined moisturizing oil derived from olives that helps to strengthen and restore skin’s moisture barrier
- Avocado Oil & Apricot Kernel Oil: Emollients that help restore hydration, soothe and soften skin
- Sodium Hyaluronate: A derivative of Hyaluronic Acid that helps hydrate and plump the skin
- Jojoba Seed Oil: Helps condition skin with a weightless feel
- Alcohol-Free
- Lightly Fragranced
Ingredients:
Water/Aqua/Eau, Glycerin, Squalane, Dicaprylyl Ether, Neopentyl Glycol Diethylhexanoate, Phenoxyethanol, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Sorbitan Stearate, PPG-26-Buteth-26, Polyglyceryl-3 Laurate, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Chlorphenesin, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Musa Sapientum (Banana) Leaf Extract, Sucrose Cocoate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Fragrance (Parfum), Chondrus Crispus Extract, Disodium EDTA, Aminomethyl Propanol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxyacetophenone, Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate, Hedychium Coronarium Root Extract, Tocopherol, Actinidia Chinensis (Kiwi) Seed Oil
Final Thoughts
I was super shocked to see so many negative reviews that Kylie Skin has received over the past year because my experience with their face products has been super positive. I have a very sensitive skin and none of their products broke my skin out or irritated me in any way. I do agree with the statement that Kylie Skin range is a very basic skincare range, targeted at teenagers and young adults and not so much at different skincare concerns, but I did enjoy using her products. Although I was more excited to grab the Vanilla Milk Toner, I ended up loving the Foaming Face Wash way more and that is definitely one product from Kylie Skin I will be repurchasing once it launches in the UK (2 more weeks!) I will be also looking into testing her other products because I truly enjoyed using her products. The toner is definitely not a must-have but I think if you do get it, you won't hate it. On the other hand, the foaming face wash is super worth it!
I hope you have enjoyed this post, let me know down in the comments which Kylie Skin product you would love to try out? Have you tried any yet?!

Hi, dolls!
After a small break, I'm coming back to you with another skincare review. This time, I will be reviewing two Kylie Skin products that I was able to get my hands on and test for 2 weeks. I will do a 4/8 week update also because that is how long you should test skincare products for. The two Kylie Skin products I decided to purchase from Douglas were the Foaming Face Wash and the Vanilla Milk Toner. Last week, I was finally allowed to travel to Europe to visit family back home and thanks to Douglas (which is available almost everywhere in Europe except UK) I could purchase the two without having to pay customs. If you're interested to read about my experience with these two products after using them fully for 2 weeks, let's get right into it!

My Thoughts:
I wasn't really planning to get this foaming face wash as I love my Cetaphil cleanser, however I decided to get it and test it along with the Toner because the moisturiser was out of stock. I definitely don't regret buying it! You only need one pump of it (max two) to wash your entire face. While it doesn't take off strong, stubborn makeup like mascara, it works great as a second cleanser in your skincare routine. I use it every morning and night and I find it to leave my skin feeling super fresh and clean. For the two weeks that I have been testing it, my sensitive skin hasn't had any bad reaction to it. I was worried that its ingredients won't work great with my skin as it's super sensitive and the face wash is lightly fragranced but so far, I have only had positive experience with this product. I will definitely check in with you guys after 4/8 weeks of using this face wash to let you know my full experience with it!

My Thoughts:
This has to be the only Kylie Skin product that I was super excited to try and get from the beginning. I haven't really tried a milk toner before this one, so it definitely was a bit weird but I really did like using it. It feels more like a lightweight moisturiser rather than a traditional toner - it leaves my skin very hydrated. Although it's called Vanilla Milk toner, you can smell a mix of coconut and vanilla. As someone who has sensitive skin, using fragrance in my skincare products can be risky because it can very easily irritate my skin but it hasn't happened yet with this product, so fingers crossed it doesn't! This toner is also alcohol-free which is a big plus because applying alcohol straight onto your face can speed up the ageing progress which we want to avoid!

Final Thoughts
Before I can give my full review on these two Kylie Skin products, I want to carry on testing them for another 2 to 4 weeks. However, so far I have been having a good experience with them because my sensitive skin hasn't had any bad reaction to it. I would label Kylie Skin as a basic skincare line as it doesn't really target specific skincare concerns and is aimed more at everybody, mostly teenagers and young adults who are just starting their skincare routines. However, it doesn't make the products bad - it just means it doesn't do anything great for your skin as it doesn't target anything in particular. My skin has definitely been feeling much hydrated after using the Vanilla Milk toner and fresh after the Foaming Face Wash, so I am just excited to carry on testing these products for 2 to 4 weeks more to see real results.
I hope you have enjoyed this post, let me know down in the comments which Kylie Skin product you would love to try out? Have you tried any yet?!

Today I will be reviewing the summer collection from Kylie Skin. Before I start, I would love to give a big shout to my girl Alyssa Galarza, because if it wasn't for her, I probably would have not been able to test these products. On August 14th, I was lucky enough to win two products from Kylie Skin Summer Collection in an Instagram giveaway hosted by Alyssa. My biggest issue with buying products from America is that the customs charge that I have to pay in the UK on top of the product price & shipping is just too high, therefore winning Alyssa's giveaway gave me the opportunity to test these two products for my blog and you guys!
I know Alyssa not only for her authentic giveaways but also for her beautiful voice. I recommend you all to check her instagram @alyssagalarza where she always has these amazing giveaways, but also check out and stream her newest song Salty because her voice is sooo good!
The two products that I have been testing are the Coconut Body Lotion and the Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Oil. Since the package has arrived on August 28th, I have been testing both for a good month now!
Before I start, in case anyone is wondering, all Kylie Skin products are labelled as:
cruelty-free, gluten free, vegan, paraben free, sulphate free & dermatologist tested.
237 ml | $24/£19
Key features of the lotion
- Coconut Oil
- Sunflower Seed Oil
- Jojoba Seed Oil
- Shea Butter
- Oat Extract
- Indian Ginseng
Personally, I really enjoyed using this body lotion. I believe people who have dry skin will really like it because it leaves the skin feeling very soft and you don't need to apply a lot of the product because you can spread it all over your body with just one/two pumps. The price point is also good in my opinion for the size of the product. If you like coconut scented products, this body lotion is most likely the one for you to try out. I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with it, but I did enjoy using it and I do think it is a good body lotion. Does everyone need it? Not necessary, but if you do have dry skin and want something that will make your skin feel very soft, or you simply like coconut scented products, then I would definitely recommend you to try this lotion out.
115 ml | $32/£26
Key features of the Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Oil
- Coconut Oil
- Shea Butter
- Grape Seed Oil
- Sunflower Seed Oil
I am obsessed with this sunscreen oil! When I first applied it on my skin, I fell in love with its unique smell. I think the product itself might be just a little overpriced but it's definitely one that I would want to repurchase. The oil is hydrating and its formula feels very lightweight on the skin. Although it absorbs into the skin almost immediately, it keeps the skin feeling fresh and healthy looking by adding a glow to it. But most importantly, this Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Oil helps to protect our skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays, prevents sunburn and reduces the risk of skin cancer. If you are somebody who has a bigger budget or doesn't mind getting something more pricey, I would totally recommend this oil to you, simply because of how amazing it makes your skin feel and of course, most importantly protects your skin!
The oil became my beach essential ☺
Final Thoughts
After testing both products for one month I can honestly say that my experience with Kylie Skin's Summer Collection has been very positive. I think the time I gave myself to test these before writing this review was good enough because summer is now over and the sun has disappeared from London, therefore I wouldn't be able to test especially the oil for much longer outside in the sun. From both of these products, I would recommend the Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Oil more just because I enjoyed using it more and I think it did more for my skin than the Coconut Body Lotion. I think the body lotion is also good as I did not have any problems while using it and it did make my skin feel softer than before, but it's not something I would say everybody needs to try out, especially if you are not willing to spend that amount of money on a body lotion. I still think that for its size the price is decent, especially coming from Kylie but I am sure people can find cheaper lotions that will work similarly for the skin for cheaper price.
I hope you enjoyed this Kylie Skin Summer Collection Review and I would love to read what you think in the comments below. Have you tried any of the Kylie Skin products? If so, what are your thoughts on them? Let me know down in the comments below!
PS. Make sure to follow my blog if you haven't already by simply clicking HERE. I'm thinking of having a blog giveaway once we hit 500 followers on my blog, so make sure you are following and let me know in the comments what you'd like to get in the giveaway!
