Hi, dolls!
Another skincare review, this time focusing on Ziaja and their products. Ziaja is a Polish company, which focuses on skin and hair needs by offering the highest quality products based on natural ingredients at very good prices. It's a family owned company which was founded in 1989 in Poland and has over 1000 beauty care products for face, body and hair care and pharmaceuticals of the highest quality. Ziaja is an ecological brand - it's cruelty free, has environmentally friendly production and almost all of their products are vegan. If you're interested to learn more about their skincare products, let's get right into the review!
I decided to purchase and test the following - an exfoliator, face toner, serum and an eye cream. Both, the exfoliator and the face toner come from the Jeju collection which is directed at young skin. The series is dedicated at teenagers, and it has specially selected cosmetics formulas which are super moisturising, soothing, antibacterial, anti-seborrheic and cleansing. The two main forces of the Jeju series are natural, raw materials of Asian origin - Japanese camellia oil and binchotan charcoal.

When I look for a toner, I have to make sure that it doesn't contain alcohol in its ingredients, as alcohol applied straight to your face can cause ageing. Thankfully, this toner doesn't contain alcohol as its ingredient and I was excited to give it a go. I have tested many toners and my skin didn't have the best reaction to any of them, until I tried out this one. My super sensitive skin really likes this toner as so far, I haven't had any issues with it. It leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed as well as super moisturised and soothed. The toner swears to refresh the skin, restore its natural pH, soothe irritations and help to get rid of imperfections. So far, this is the best and cheapest toner I have used!
Main Ingredients:
- Japanese Camellia Oil
- Binchotan Charcoal
- Cistus Extract
- Bark of Aspen Poplar Extract
This exfoliator comes in a thick white paste form which contains biodegradable exfoliating substances. It can be used daily. It differs a bit from your normal exfoliator, as you apply it onto your face, add some water and massage it in circular motions. I have used it twice and noticed that each time my skin felt very clean and moisturised. My current favourite exfoliator is the Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub - you can read my review of it HERE - but I did enjoy trying and using Ziaja's one.
Main Ingredients:
- Japanese Camellia Oil
- Binchotan Charcoal
- Cistus Extract
- Bark of Aspen Poplar Extract
I have also decided to reach out for an eye cream to test out and decided to get Ziaja's eye cream which contains Vitamin E. The eye cream has a very gentle cream-gel formula which is meant to be applied everyday around the eye area. I found that if you apply this cream too close to the eye, it can cause some irritation, more than other eye creams, so I try to be as careful when using it. However, it leaves my eye area very hydrated and moisturised throughout the day.
Main Ingredients:
- Vitamin E
- Provitamin B5 (D-panthenol)
- Grape seed oil
I left my favourite out of the four for last. I have tried many serums to test and review as well as to finally find one that will agree with my skin and I never really found the one. Ziaja's serum not only smooths my skin but also intensely moisturises it. Previous serums caused breakouts to my skin - more blog posts on that will come soon - and I feel like after using this serum for a while now, it has helped to calm my skin down and get it back to normal. It's definitely something I'm looking to stock up for my collection because I can see myself using this serum all the time. Also, I have to mention its beautiful scent which makes my skin smell so yummy!
Main Ingredients:
- Acai Berries
- Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone
- Beta-Glucan
- Hyaluronic Acid
- B5 (D-panthenol)
- Vitamin E
Final Thoughts
As you guys probably already know, I love sharing with you new brands that are unknown to many of you, especially Polish brands, as I am Polish myself. I have used Ziaja's skin products ever since I was little, but never skincare products. This was my first time testing them out and I am very impressed! What surprised me the most is how good these products have been performing on my sensitive skin comparing to other brands that are much more known around the world and have been disappointing for me. I have tried many drug store skin care products but none impressed me as much as Ziaja's. My favourite has to be the serum, but I do enjoy using all four products. I know that we tend to buy products from brand we know and are familiar with, but I would definitely recommend everyone to check out Ziaja because for its price, they 100% do not disappoint!
Let me know down in the comments which one of the four products you'd like to try the most. What other brands would you like me to test out? Let me know! Stay tuned for a new blog post coming soon xo

ReplyDeleteThank you ❤️
DeleteGreat post! I love reading about brands I had no idea existed. The serum sounds amazing. I’d like to read a review of Drunk Elephant range. xx
ReplyDeleteVery interesting brand and loving there prices are so low! Thanks for another lovely review! Great job
ReplyDeleteThis all sounds like it is gentle and moisturizing, which is a good thing! I find alot of drugstore brands or cheaper brands rely on alcohol to "cleanse" the skin, but in reality, it strips the skin of the bad AND the good oils. This sound alot nicer than other brands at the drugstore! I used Proactive when I was younger and had acne, lemme just say that it was harsh, but it also moisturized well at the end of the routine so it all balanced pretty well. I stopped using it as I got older bc my skin stopped breaking out as often and felt like I needed more natural products on my skin. I have tried alot of brands and the ones that stick out are Clinique, CeraVe & ofc Drunk Elephant. Bliss makes some good products and I'm going to try the Wishful mask Thirst Trap this weekend, as I won it in your last Giveaway and am super stoked to see how my skin feels post use! I'd love to have you review the new Littles set from Drunk Elephant!! It's such an amazing brand and besides ProActiv, it's the only skincare brand that had worked pretty much since first application!💖
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great read as always! XOXO
This is such an interesting post! I love seeing the different sorts of skincare products people use!
