Once again it's lockdown over here in the UK, so I decided to end this year with another makeup review. This Christmas, my best friend Jess gifted me one of Charlotte Tilbury's creme eyeshadows and I wanted to test it out for my blog. Charlotte’s best-selling Eyes to Mesmerise in Rose Gold is a gorgeous soft pink rose-gold metallic shade with water-infused formula. The creme eyeshadows are described as easy glide-on formula that won’t drag on your delicate eye area. It has Vitamin E which hydrates and provides antioxidant protection from free radicals.

Out of the 6 shades available, I think my best friend did a great job at picking the one I’d most likely go for myself. Rose Gold is such a beautiful colour, you can create so many looks with it! The formula is very creamy and pigmented, I found it to apply easily on the eye with both a brush and fingers. I like the fact that this doesn’t dry out too quickly, which means its buildable and works well with powder shadow over or under it! I finished my look with my favourite mascara (Huda Beauty Legit Lashes) and kept my eye look on for the whole day. I was really surprised to find out that this Creme Shadow doesn’t crease at all and is just as beautiful at the end of the day as it is when first applied.

Final Thoughts

This has to be the first creme shadow that I truly enjoyed using and see myself using again. I love the fact it works well with powder shadow under or over the product as well as the fact it doesn’t dry out too quickly. I find products that dry out quickly to feel heavy and uncomfortable on the eye but this Creme Eyeshadow is very lightweight and super comfortable to wear. I think it's great for a quick eye look but also a fun addition to full glam. If you’re looking for a good creme eyeshadow, this is definitely it!!
