Hi, dolls!
In today's post, I wanted to do another 'makeup battle' and compare two of the Makeup Revolution's foundations. Firstly, they launched their Conceal & Define full coverage foundation and later added Conceal & Hydrate with a more hydrating foundation formula. Ever since Revolution has launched their Conceal & Define foundation, I have been fully obsessed and that's the only foundation I have been using (before trying YSL one which I have fully reviewed HERE). I thought it would be a good idea to get their Conceal & Hydrate version foundation, so I could review and compare the two for you guys. So, if you're interested to find out what I think about both of the foundations, let's get right into the review!
PS. For reference, I use the shade 0.1 in both Revolution's foundations and concealers and shade F1 if I get a tan which is very rare lol!
Makeup Revolution
Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation
Conceal and Define is a full coverage foundation, offering lightweight yet buildable coverage in 50 skin-true shades. This foundation is designed to suit every skin type and tone. With it's oil-free yet creamy and comfortable formula which dries down to a long-lasting, Demi-matte finish it doesn't settle into your fine lines or cling to any dry patches. The packaging of the foundation is a luxe glass bottle with a jumbo doe-foot applicator and as described by Revolution, it's for greater control and less waste. To pair up with the foundation, Makeup Revolution has also launched their Conceal & Define concealer. The foundation is vegan, cruelty-free, paraben free and oil free!
Ever since I have tried this foundation, I truly fell in love. I've been using it non-stop for the past 2 years and until trying my YSL All Hours foundation, I honestly never felt like I needed a different one. It does everything I need it to do - it's full coverage (truly!) and has a matte finish which is a must for me, but at the same it is not too drying and super comfortable to wear. It comes in 50 different shades which is just amazing for a drug store foundation/brand and I'm sure there is a shade for everyone. I also really like the bottle, it looks super luxurious and doesn't feel cheap at all.
Makeup Revolution
Conceal & Hydrate Foundation
Due to many demands for a more hydrating foundation, Revolution has launched their new Conceal & Hydrate medium to full coverage foundation. It comes with the same 50 shades the Conceal & Define foundation came in but this time infused with hyaluronic acid to hydrate the complexion, providing a plumping effect and creating a smoother, satin glow finish for the skin. Conceal & Hydrate has been specially formulated to suit every skin type and tone, but is particularly beneficial for dry skin. With hyaluronic acid, it offers all day long radiance and glow without settling into fine lines or clinging to dry patches. It also comes in a luxe glass bottle but with a new pump applicator for added control. Just like with their previous foundation, they have added Conceal & Hydrate concealer to be paired up with this foundation.
When it comes to foundation, I usually prefer to go for a matte or a demi-matte finish rather than a dewy one. Some might find it weird as I don't have oily skin and especially during winter my skin can get a bit too dry. However, it's just a preference I have as I find matte foundations much more comfortable to wear and those I use on a daily basis don't feel drying on my skin at all. However, ever since this foundation has launched, I wanted to give it a go and compare it to the Conceal & Define simply because I loved the first version of the foundation so much. I know that not everyone is into matte finish foundations, so I'm happy they did a more hydrating version. However, after testing the foundation I wasn't happy. Firstly, as it says in its description, it's a medium to full coverage buildable foundation, however it definitely lacks the coverage Conceal & Define gives me. It blends nicely and after applying it onto my face, it leaves the skin looking very pretty and fresh. The shades are the same as in the original foundation which is also nice, but as the day goes by the foundation starts to disappoint. After wearing the foundation for around 3 hours, I have noticed it moving around my face even though I set it the same way as I usually do - using a loose baking powder and my setting spray. The foundation has also sunk into my smile lines throughout the day - it's not a major issue for me as it's fixable but I like when my foundation stays on my face throughout the day without any issues just like Conceal & Define.
I swatched my whole Conceal & Define collection for you guys - as already mentioned, I use the shade 0.1 in both foundations and concealers but before that launched I used 1 which is definitely a colour to use for me only when I get tanned. I also use the Conceal & Define corrector in the shade C0 mostly as a base for my eyeshadow.
Final Thoughts
Although I find myself to have more of a dry skin than an oily one, I just love matte foundations. I wanted to try out the hydrating version by Revolution to see if it makes my skin feel any better but I didn't find it to feel comfortable on my face at all. The fact it moved around throughout the day also wasn't the best experience, as when I wear my Conceal & Define foundation, it literally stays on for the whole day without any issues or me having to do any touch ups. Obviously if you prefer hydrating foundations, this might work way differently for you but for me - Conceal & Define wins this comparison!
Let me know down in the comments if you have tried any of these two foundations and if so, which one is your favourite? As always, stay tuned for my next blog post xo

Hi, dolls!
After my last review of Ziaja's skincare products, I was kindly gifted their new body scrub from their new summer Lemon Cake collection. For those that haven't read my previous review on Ziaja's skincare products (you can read it HERE) Ziaja is a Polish company, which focuses on skin and hair needs by offering the highest quality products based on natural ingredients at very good prices. It's a family owned company which was founded in 1989 in Poland and has over 1000 beauty care products for face, body and hair care and pharmaceuticals of the highest quality. Ziaja is an ecological brand - it's cruelty free, has environmentally friendly production and almost all of their products are vegan. If you are interested to find out more about their Lemon Cake sugar body scrub, then let's get right into the review!

Lemon Cake sugar body scrub comes from the new summer collection Ziaja has launched at the end of May. The collection includes 4 products: hand and body foam wash, hand cream, bath jelly soap and the sugar body scrub. You can shop the collection here. Once again, a big thank you to Ziaja for gifting me the body scrub, so I could test it out and review!
The sugar body scrub has an incredible lemon scent of a birthday cake and it aims to smooth the skin with its natural sugar crystals. It also reduces dryness and roughness of the skin, leaving it feeling super soft, gently oiled and smoothed with no necessity to use a body balm/butter after. This scrub unlike others, can be used daily.
Main Ingredients:
- Shea Butter
How to use:
You apply the scrub to damp skin and massage it with circular motions and rinse off thoroughly after.
Final Thoughts
I was so excited to receive this body scrub and test it out. I am a huge fan of Ziaja's body care products, especially their Olive Oil and Acai Berry collections, so when I heard about their new summer range, I knew I had to try it. I have been using their Gdanskin Oil body scrub for dry skin, so I was also very interested to see the difference between the two scrubs.

I found the Lemon Cake body scrub to feel super nice once applied to my skin. Sugar scrubs are perfect for exfoliating dead skin off of your body and I love to use them all over me. After using the Lemon Cake scrub, it left my skin feeling super soft and smooth and just like it says on their website, there is no need to apply lotion or body butter after. Its scent is also very pleasant because it's not too strong, it smells like lemon and vanilla - just what you would imagine a lemon birthday cake to smell like. Although I had plans to repurchase my Gdanskin oil body scrub, I will be switching to the Lemon Cake one for now because it does an amazing job for my body. I definitely recommend all of you to try out Ziaja's Lemon Cake summer collection as well as their other body care and skin care products because they are super affordable but at the same time high quality!
Have you ever tried Ziaja's products? What are your thoughts on the Lemon Cake body scrub? Let me know down in the comments and stay tuned for my next blog post! xo

Hi, dolls!
In today's blog post, I decided to talk about my June favourites - all the beauty products I have been using in June. I use a lot of products but the ones I will be mentioning today are the ones I constantly kept using throughout June.
Let's get right into it!
EYES
My current favourite eyeshadow palette is YOU'RE SO MONEY BABY by Kylie Cosmetics. It has all the colours I need for summer looks - I just love it. To read my full review of the palette, click HERE.
FACE
Ever since I decided to reach for the YSL All Hours foundation and test it out, I can't stop using it. Read my full review of the product HERE.
For concealer, I have been using the Huda Beauty Overachiever concealer. It's tiny but you only need a little bit of the product for full coverage! Read my full review of the concealer by clicking HERE.

I still haven't found a better contour palette than the KVD Shade and Light one. I'm about to order my 3rd one!

Hi, dolls!
In today's and Wednesday's upcoming blog post, I decided to focus on foundations. I have previously reviewed concealers but never fully did any reviews of foundations, therefore I thought it would be fun to test some for you guys. Today, I will be reviewing the Yves Saint Laurent All Hours Foundation in the shade B05 Milk. Let's get right into the review!
Yves Saint Laurent All Hours Foundation
B05 Milk SPF20
YSL All Hours Foundation is described as a matte foundation for a flawless complexion that will have you covered for endless nights. It's meant to stay put for up to 24 hours. It has a rich level of fine pigments which makes it full coverage with a flawless, even finish, without a mask-like effect. The high coverage foundation's innovative formula is waterproof and transfer-resistant, with no compromise on comfort and no need to touch up. The oil-free formula will give your face a matte look throughout the day and will help to reduce the appearance of pores. The formula is enriched with a skincare complex and UV filter leaving skin looking fresh and smooth.
YSL uses the following descriptions in all foundation shade names:
B or Beige - best for neutral undertones
BD or Beige Dore - best for warm undertones
BR or Beige Rose - best for cool undertones
Main benefits of the foundation, listed on the YSL website:
• Full coverage
• Flawless matte finish
• 24hour long-wear
• Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin
• Dermatologically tested
• Non-comedogenic
• SPF 20 / PA +++
My Thoughts
Although I am pretty happy with my drug store foundation, I decided to test the YSL one not really knowing what to expect. I ordered it online, hoping that the shade finder helps me pick the best shade for my skin. I was pleasantly surprised to find how good of a match for my skin tone the shade B05 Milk is.
My hand is a bit more tanned at the moment than usual but the colour is a perfect shade for my face.
I applied the foundation using my beauty blender after applying moisturiser as I would normally do. I definitely agree with the statement that the foundation will leave your skin looking very fresh and smooth - and although it's full coverage, it doesn't leave your skin feeling heavy. In fact, I could barely feel the foundation on my face. However, I would say that the foundation's coverage is definitely buildable, I didn't get the full coverage feeling straight away. It blends very nicely, I used a beauty blender as that's what I normally use to put on a foundation. I would say that it has a nice soft matte finish to it, it's definitely not dewy. The scent that this foundation has is also very enjoyable, it's not too strong like in some foundations and it's also not a usual foundation scent. The fact that this foundation has SPF20 is also a major plus for me.
I have tested the foundation for around 9 hours and I have to say that I truly loved it. After 9 hours where I have spent my day eating, drinking, laughing etc. the foundation did not move or look different, it looked as fresh as it was when I first applied it. I had many bad experiences where many foundations would move after a while or not work too great with my concealers but this one didn't do none of that. I applied my Huda concealer when testing this foundation and the two worked together perfectly well. It has covered my freckles and all imperfections and I honestly didn't want to take it off because it looked so good!
I hope that you have enjoyed my review, let me know down in the comments if you have ever tried any of the YSL foundations. My next blog post will be comparing two foundations, so stay tuned for that!
