Revolution Skincare Face Masks Review

by - Wednesday, May 15, 2019

Hi, dolls!

I have noticed that my last skincare post was one of your favourites to read, so I decided to test more skin products to review. This time I will be talking about the new Revolution Face Masks that launched not that long ago. Revolution launched 4 face masks - Warming Gel, Charcoal, Pink Clay and Hyaluronic Acid. Out of the 4, I decided to test two that I believe would benefit my skin the most, because testing four on my skin sounded too heavy, as I was not sure how my skin would react to it. Previously, my skin hasn't had the best reaction to the Revolution serums, so I was a bit worried about testing their face masks. But more information on how my skin reacted below, so enjoy the review and stay tuned for more!

I decided to buy two - the Warming Gel which is a moisturising mask and the Charcoal which is a purifying mask. I thought that these two would be the best as I needed to moisturise my skin as well as some purifying. Both retail for £8/$10 and are available on Revolution's website as well as their other retailers, including BeautyBay or Ulta. Both are 50 ml which is something I did not notice when ordering them, and once they arrived I was shocked how small they were. I think my reaction came from the fact that any creams or face masks I have tried before were usually 100ml, but it being 50ml is not the biggest issue here, as you still get quite a lot of product for such a small amount of money.

The Warming Gel is said to be good for dry skin, as it is hydrating which helps to boost hydration levels and keeps the skin moisturised. The texture of this face masks has a gel-like feeling/texture or I would even say that it feels like glue, which is a weird feeling when touching it but fun at the same time. Since it is a warming gel, the face masks once put on your face, warms up a bit and that definitely feels a bit different than other face masks but I have to admit that is a very pleasant feeling but I know that not everything likes to feel like their skin is burning or warming up.

The Charcoal mask is said to be good for clogged pores, as it contains activated charcoal powder which helps to draw out oil and dirt from pores and purifies the skin and helps to clean complexion. Once this mask is applied on the face, it starts to dry out from the wet-texture to more of a dry-out one.

Both masks are advised to be kept on the face for about 10 to 15 minutes for best results, I would suggest trying it on for 10 minutes, in the beginning, to see how your skin reacts to it before you start going full in for 15 minutes.

As mentioned before, my skin didn't have the best reaction to the Revolution face serums which I have stopped using after like two times, so I was a bit worried that this would happen again, this time with the face masks. However, I was worrying for nothing because it actually turned out to be working amazingly on my skin. I first started with the Warming Gel, as my skin lately became drier from all the stress, and I have to say after using the product first time for 10 minutes, immediately I could see the results. It left my skin feeling so refreshed after I first used it for 10 minutes and later for 15. I try to use these masks once or twice a week, so I tend to switch around with these two to use both as often, as they are the best combination for what my skin needs. The Charcoal mask is definitely something you should reach for if you need to cleanse your skin, ever since I have been using it my skin became softer and it also looks healthier.

Since both masks worked well for my skin, I would definitely recommend you guys to check out the Revolution Face Masks, but remember to always pick one suited to your skin's needs. All the info about each mask is available on the Revolution website, and if you are struggling with which one to pick, you can always leave a comment down below and I will try my best to help you pick one that will suit your skin best. Also, not everyone will react the same to face masks, so it is always best to test out stuff for a shorter time to see how the skin reacts before using it all the time.

I hope that you guys enjoyed review of Revolution new face masks, I get loads of comments asking about skincare products, so I will definitely focus on those more, but they take a bit longer for me to test out because when I give a review on anything skin related I want to ensure that I have tested it for a long enough time to give my opinion on it for you guys to keep it 100% real!

As always, let me know in the comment section below what you think about Revolution face masks, if you have tried it already and if not, would you like to try it out? Also, please let me know what you would like to read reviews on the most, as I try to review products you guys are most interested in.

  8. Wow I'm really glad to hear you didn't have a reaction to the masks. I think I'm gonna give the charcoal one a try. I'm glad you put down the sizes too. They do look small but saying they actually have more product than it looks helps.
