Hi, dolls!

In today's fragrance review, I will be looking at the Good Girl perfume by Carolina Herrera. I was gifted this perfume for my birthday, never before having to try the scent out but I fell in love with it immediately. I definitely wanted to review it because of how well-known this perfume is and I hope you all enjoy my review! xo

Carolina Herrera Good Girl Perfume 80ml
£94/$119

Good Girl perfume by Carolina Herrera was released in 2016 with the message 'It's good to be bad!' Good Girl promises an innovative and addictive combination of tuberose and roasted Tonka Bean, which represents the duality of a woman's character. A floral wave of white Sambac Jasmine and Tuberose is placed in contrast with the mysterious and deep notes of Tonka Bean and Cocoa. There are many versions to this fragrance such as Good Girl Legere, however the original has to be my favourite out of all.

Top Notes: Sambac Jasmine, Tuberose
Heart Notes: Velvet Almond
Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Cocoa, Coffee

Good Girl is a very warm and seductive scent with a hint of floral added t it. It's super long lasting and each time I wear it, people seem to always notice it and compliment me or at least ask for the fragrance I wear. I personally wouldn't however recommend buying it blindly because the scent is so unique that it can be overpowering for some of you. However, I'm sure that after checking it out, many of you will love it, but I always recommend trying it before buying. The bottle packaging is very cool, it looks like a shoe which is great to have for display with your fragrance collection. It definitely stands out from other perfume bottles and makes the perfumes much more unique.

This fragrance lasts long and there is no need to spray it more than once or twice during the day as it's eau de Parfum. Eau de Parfum has the highest concentration of fragrance - generally having a fragrance concentration of between 15% and 20%. On average, eau de Parfum should last from four to five hours, if not more. This differs from Eau de Toilette which has a fragrance concentration of between 5% and 15%. Eau de Toilette is definitely one of the most popular types of fragrance and it is definitely cheaper than eau de Parfum (in case some of you were wondering why Good Girl's price is high) but it will normally only last for two to three hours.

Final Thoughts
Usually, I like to check out the scents of perfumes I get because I tend to be very picky with it. However, I received this fragrance as a birthday present and to my surprise, I fell in love with it. I don't really have one scent I always go for, all of my fragrances are very different, but this one is just super unique and sexy. While I would label my other fragrances as sweet and flowery, this one is just sexy. Also, I love the bottle and I gladly have it on display with my whole fragrance collection. I never suggest or recommend buying fragrances blindly online, as I am definitely someone who prefers to check out the scent before buying it. As this fragrance is very well-known around the world and is probably available in all stores, you should definitely check it out if you haven't already next time you step into a fragrance shop.

I hope that you have enjoyed another of my fragrance reviews and definitely stay tuned for more! Let me know down in the comments what your thoughts are on the Good Girl fragrance, and whether you have or haven't tried it! xo

Hi, dolls!

In today's post, I wanted to focus on a concealer which I have recently started using and immediately fell in love with. Although Huda's Overachiever Concealer was released in 2018, it was only recently that I have decided to give it a go. Few months ago, I did a review talking about two of my all-time favourite concealers which you can read about by clicking HERE. If you're interested to hear more about the Overachiever Concealer, let's get right into the review!

Source

The Overachiever Concealer is packed with 31% pure pigment and multi-action skincare activities, therefore it doesn't only cover and conceal but also soothes the delicate skin around the eyes with each application. The formula aims to get rid of dark circles, redness, hyperpigmentation, age spots and discolouration. It has a beautiful luminous-matte finish. The formula itself is very creamy, infused with Green Tea which is known to erase signs of discolouration and stress, while also protecting the skin. The concealer is created to provide water-resistant and transfer-free coverage for the whole day. The Overachiever is equipped with a luxurious Zamac tip which is there to help soothe and de-puff the area around the eyes as you apply the product, which leaves you looking refreshed and awake. Personally, I really enjoy and appreciate the applicator in this concealer as it makes using the product much easier and is beneficial for the skin.

Huda's Tips For Application
  • Carefully release the formula by gently squeezing the tube, and apply it directly to the under-eye area. The cooling Zamac tip helps to de-puff and conceal for a refreshed look
  • Blend using a brush or a damp beauty sponge. By gently stippling you’ll achieve a more full-coverage look.
  • To keep your concealer looking flawless all day long, set with a loose powder for a lasting, luminous-matte finish.

Final Thoughts
As you probably already know, Huda Beauty is one of my favourite beauty brands at the moment. The reason behind this is pretty simple - every product I own from the brand is of high quality and very enjoyable to use. I decided to try the concealer for myself after hearing my friends raving about it, even though I have already previously found my perfect concealers - Revolution and L'oreal ones. Out of the 20 shades that Huda provides, I decided to go for the lightest one - shade Whipped Cream 00G fair with golden undertones. I was shocked of how good match this concealer was for my skin. At first, I wasn't too sure about the concealer because of two things - it's high price compared to it's size - it's only 10ml. However, as I started using it, I realised that you only need a tiny bit of the product to use under your eyes because it has an amazing pigmentation, meaning that this product will last you a long time. Paired up with my favourite baking powder, also by Huda Beauty, this is the best combination for my skin to look flawless throughout the whole day. I really started loving this concealer because it truly does what it says it will do for your skin. I tested many concealers that either didn't match my skin tone too well or creased and moved when applied, but this one didn't do none of that. I am therefore very impressed and this has became my newest favourite concealer!

Let me know down in the comments what your favourite concealer is at the moment and if you have tried the Overachiever concealer yet! Stay tuned for my next blog post coming Sunday! xo

Hi, dolls!

Another skincare review, this time focusing on Ziaja and their products. Ziaja is a Polish company, which focuses on skin and hair needs by offering the highest quality products based on natural ingredients at very good prices. It's a family owned company which was founded in 1989 in Poland and has over 1000 beauty care products for face, body and hair care and pharmaceuticals of the highest quality. Ziaja is an ecological brand - it's cruelty free, has environmentally friendly production and almost all of their products are vegan. If you're interested to learn more about their skincare products, let's get right into the review!

I decided to purchase and test the following - an exfoliator, face toner, serum and an eye cream. Both, the exfoliator and the face toner come from the Jeju collection which is directed at young skin. The series is dedicated at teenagers, and it has specially selected cosmetics formulas which are super moisturising, soothing, antibacterial, anti-seborrheic and cleansing. The two main forces of the Jeju series are natural, raw materials of Asian origin - Japanese camellia oil and binchotan charcoal.

When I look for a toner, I have to make sure that it doesn't contain alcohol in its ingredients, as alcohol applied straight to your face can cause ageing. Thankfully, this toner doesn't contain alcohol as its ingredient and I was excited to give it a go. I have tested many toners and my skin didn't have the best reaction to any of them, until I tried out this one. My super sensitive skin really likes this toner as so far, I haven't had any issues with it. It leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed as well as super moisturised and soothed. The toner swears to refresh the skin, restore its natural pH, soothe irritations and help to get rid of imperfections. So far, this is the best and cheapest toner I have used!

Main Ingredients:
- Japanese Camellia Oil
- Binchotan Charcoal
- Cistus Extract
- Bark of Aspen Poplar Extract

This exfoliator comes in a thick white paste form which contains biodegradable exfoliating substances. It can be used daily. It differs a bit from your normal exfoliator, as you apply it onto your face, add some water and massage it in circular motions. I have used it twice and noticed that each time my skin felt very clean and moisturised. My current favourite exfoliator is the Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub - you can read my review of it HERE - but I did enjoy trying and using Ziaja's one.

Main Ingredients:
- Japanese Camellia Oil
- Binchotan Charcoal
- Cistus Extract
- Bark of Aspen Poplar Extract

I have also decided to reach out for an eye cream to test out and decided to get Ziaja's eye cream which contains Vitamin E. The eye cream has a very gentle cream-gel formula which is meant to be applied everyday around the eye area. I found that if you apply this cream too close to the eye, it can cause some irritation, more than other eye creams, so I try to be as careful when using it. However, it leaves my eye area very hydrated and moisturised throughout the day.

Main Ingredients:
- Vitamin E
- Provitamin B5 (D-panthenol)
- Grape seed oil

I left my favourite out of the four for last. I have tried many serums to test and review as well as to finally find one that will agree with my skin and I never really found the one. Ziaja's serum not only smooths my skin but also intensely moisturises it. Previous serums caused breakouts to my skin - more blog posts on that will come soon - and I feel like after using this serum for a while now, it has helped to calm my skin down and get it back to normal. It's definitely something I'm looking to stock up for my collection because I can see myself using this serum all the time. Also, I have to mention its beautiful scent which makes my skin smell so yummy!

Main Ingredients:
- Acai Berries
- Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone
- Beta-Glucan
- Hyaluronic Acid
- B5 (D-panthenol)
- Vitamin E

Final Thoughts
As you guys probably already know, I love sharing with you new brands that are unknown to many of you, especially Polish brands, as I am Polish myself. I have used Ziaja's skin products ever since I was little, but never skincare products. This was my first time testing them out and I am very impressed! What surprised me the most is how good these products have been performing on my sensitive skin comparing to other brands that are much more known around the world and have been disappointing for me. I have tried many drug store skin care products but none impressed me as much as Ziaja's. My favourite has to be the serum, but I do enjoy using all four products. I know that we tend to buy products from brand we know and are familiar with, but I would definitely recommend everyone to check out Ziaja because for its price, they 100% do not disappoint!

Let me know down in the comments which one of the four products you'd like to try the most. What other brands would you like me to test out? Let me know! Stay tuned for a new blog post coming soon xo

Hi, dolls!

In today's post, I decided to focus on fragrance by creating a fun quiz! As you probably already know, I am in love with Kayali fragrances and you can read my reviews on their scents by clicking here - Elixir Review and Vanilla Review. I've seen many of you ask me what I think about Kayali and many of you have been interested in checking their fragrance out, so I decided to create a little quiz, which can help you decide which Kayali scent to go for!

I hope you enjoy it, and let me know down in the comments which scent you got! xo

Hi, dolls!

For the past 3 years, I have been using my Holy Grail mascara product which is the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. I have tested many mascaras throughout the years but I have never found one that would replace my favourite. Too Faced introduced Better Than Sex mascara in 2014 and added the waterproof version in 2016. In today's review, I will review and let you know my thoughts on both mascaras. Let's get right into the review!

This number 1 selling prestige mascara in America, has an amazing formula which thickens, lengthens, and curls after just one coat for the most dramatic and volumized lashes possible. The mascara features an hourglass brush and a collagen-enriched formula to create thick, curled lashes.

In my opinion, this is an amazing mascara. It's super black and it makes your lashes look thick and super voluminous. It takes about two to three coats for me to achieve the desired length but it does a great job for my lashes, and I have not yet found a mascara that does a better job than this one. It can get a bit clumpy if you use too much at once, so it's important to be careful while applying but it's not a big issue, as it's easy to clean off.

The waterproof version of the Better Than Sex mascara is formulated with high-performance, water-resistant polymers for sweat-proof results. This formula thickens, lengthens, and curls after just one coat for the most luscious and volumized lashes possible. It also features an hourglass brush and a collagen-enriched formula which create thick and curled lashes.

After trying the OG Better Than Sex, I decided to reach out for the waterproof version because my eyes get very teary during the day, so when it comes to my eyes I tend to reach for water proof eyeliner and mascara. I love this mascara because it makes my lashes look 10 times thicker and more voluminous as well as jet back. It lasts incredibly well throughout the whole day, and is definitely super waterproof as no matter how much you cry or go swimming, this mascara doesn't leave your lashes or smudges. This makes it sometimes a pain to remove because it's literally so super waterproof, but that's something I love about it and I don't find it too annoying to clean because during the day, it does an amazing job for me.

Final Thoughts
In my opinion, the Better Than Sex mascara is the best mascara out there that I have ever tried. Nothing beats it for me! I prefer the waterproof version just because of my teary eyes but I find both to do the same amazing work for my lashes, leaving them super voluminous and much thicker. I can also confirm that what is shown in the gif above - taken from the Too Faced website - is true! For anyone who's looking for a good mascara and hasn't tried Better Than Sex yet, I would totally recommend checking it out. This mascara is also available in both version in a travel size, so it's a great way of testing this product out before buying a full-size.

Have you ever tried Better Than Sex mascara? If so, what are your thoughts? Make sure to let me know down in the comments! xo
