Hi, dolls!
Today I wanted to share with you an exclusive Huda Beauty set - the Glow Getter Kit. I believe the set was available back when Huda opened her Pop-Up shop in London and now is only available to purchase on Feelunique. If you're interested to find out more, let's get right into it!
This post may contain affiliate links meaning that if you click on the link and purchase the item, I will receive an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. However, my reviews/opinions on products are always 100% honest and I'll only recommend items that I love!
Glow Getter Kit contains Huda's 3D Highlighter Palette, Resting Boss Face setting spray and the Basic B makeup sponge housed within a beautifully glowing metallic pink makeup bag, perfectly designed for your on-the-go-glow! As you can see from the numbers above, the Glow Getter Kit is a great savings deal. You get products worth £82/$114 for only £35.75/$49! I didn't have any of these products in my collection, so I knew I had to grab it while it's still available.
This highlighter palette has two different textures - a pearlescent creamy shade and three light-catching pressed pearl hues. It's inspired by Huda's hack of layering oil with powder highlighter to amplify her glow. The Melted Strobe, a pearlescent creamy formula enriched with Karite butter, creates a flawless, lit-from-within canvas for layering powders. The other three shades are light-catching pressed pearls, in complimentary tones to give you sculpted, 3D radiance.
I found this set by actually searching for a nice, high-end highlighter palette to add to my collection. Pink Sands is the perfect shade match for my fair skin tone, so I really couldn't say no to this kit. I usually stick to whiter highlighter shades as gold tones don't really suit my skin tone but I have to admit AZORES is the perfect shade of gold for fair skin tones. I really love the look of the melted strobe CAPRI as it gives the skin such a natural glow and can be worn on it's own. Since I love my white highlighters I'm also obsessed with SANTORINI and love to apply it on top of AZORES.
Resting Boss Face is Huda's first, extra-hold setting spray for the ultimate matte finish. It's described to deliver a comfortable, matte finish without leaving your skin feeling dry.
I've seen so many mixed reviews of this setting spray - some loved it and some really didn't. Skindinavia's Bridal spray has always been my go-to setting spray but I was excited to test out Huda's and see if maybe I will like it better. I wish someone had warned me from the first spray because a really strong smell of hair-spray just hits your entire face. Soon after, it turns into the lovely scent that all of Huda's products have and I love it. However, the initial spray is definitely very strong and although it says it's safe to apply directly to the eyes, I would avoid it. The first time I sprayed it onto my entire face without covering my eyes, just closing them, my eyes kept tearing up for another hour or two. The finish is definitely matte and this setting spray definitely keep your makeup locked in for hours. I do really like it and see myself using it more often but I would definitely recommend covering your eyes when using it especially if your eyes are sensitive like mine.
The Glow Getter set also includes the Basic B sponge and a makeup bag. I actually didn't expect the makeup bag to be as big as it is which I love because it will be perfect when travelling. The Basic B sponge is a double-sided applicator designed for applying and blending formulas to create a perfectly flawless complexion. I really like it, it's very soft and easy to use. I could even compare it to the original beauty blender and I'm happy I got to try it with this set.
Final Thoughts
I'm happy I was able to purchase the Glow Getter set because I got it at such great deal. I paid less for everything together than the actual highlighter palette is worth which is just amazing. I truly enjoy using Pink Sands highlighter palette and the layering technique is great at getting the ultimate glow. I'm also surprised because I didn't think I would like the Resting Boss setting spray, however as it turns out I do love the matte finish and how good it sets your makeup. I am also loving the makeup bag, it's actually bigger than I thought it would be which makes it perfect for travelling. My least favourite product from the set is the sponge, I do enjoy using it but it's not your must-have.
What do you think of the Glow Getter Kit? Would you purchase it yourself?

Hi, dolls!
I am very excited today because Lancome has surprised me once again and sent out their three fragrances out to me. I've received La Vie Est Belle, Idôle and Idôle L'Intense. I thought it would be fun to keep this review about both Idôle fragrances and leave La Vie Est Belle for another comparison as I'd also love to review the newest Lancome scent Soleil Cristal. If you're interested to find out more about Idôle and Idôle L'Intense, let's get right into it!

Created by women for women, Idôle was launched in 2019 and is a Chypre Floral fragrance. It's described as a fresh fragrance with notes of rose, jasmine and chypre. It comes in a sleek, refillable bottle to support a more sustainable future. Dedicated to women who dare to dream, who defy expectations, to the leaders and innovators of tomorrow. Strong, Outspoken and Empowered - the women who look to themselves for the inspiration they need to rewrite the future.
Top Notes: Bergamot, Juicy Pear & Pink Peppercorn
Middle Notes: Rose & Jasmine
Bottom Notes: White Musk, Vanilla, Patchouli & Cedarwood
The opening of Idôle gives me a burst of a strong, juicy pear and bergamot. Soon after you start to smell the Rose and the Jasmine and as it settles throughout the day, you also get to smell its bottom notes of musk and vanilla. I find Idôle to be very light and fresh but also super powerful. It's a fragrance that definitely makes a statement - after all it was created for all women. I personally really love this scent and see myself reaching for it throughout the day as well as on a night out. It's truly beautiful and has an excellent staying power and projection. I was really surprised to see so many negative opinions about it because for me it's a great fragrance, one I would definitely repurchase myself.
I also have to talk about the bottle of this fragrance - it's the thinnest one I have ever seen. It's really simple but pretty and what I like the most about it is that it's refillable. The only issue is that it doesn't really stand on its own but I still managed to place it nicely in my fragrance stand.
Idôle L'Intense was launched in 2020 and just like Idôle, it's also dedicated to women. It's described as a burning fragrance through the glass transparency revealing the most brilliant version of the Idôle woman.
Top Notes: Intense Chypre Accord, Bitter & Mandarin Orange
Middle Notes: Intense Rose Essence & Intense Jasmine Absolute
Bottom Notes: Acacia, Cashmere Wood, Patchouli, Vanilla, Amber and Cedar
The opening of Idôle L'Intense gives me a burst of rose with sweet, orange notes. As it settles throughout the day, you start to smell the notes of vanilla and musk and its bottom woody notes become more apparent. For me, it differs from the original as it adds a heavier dose of rose and citrus. It's definitely stronger and just like it's name - more intense. Although there is a bit of similarity between the two, I definitely see Idôle L'Intense as more of a going-out scent out of the two, however you can still wear it throughout the day.
The bottle design also differs as it's no longer see-through - it has a pink and gold sheen instead. To be completely honest the difference between them colour-wise doesn't really bother me because they both look pretty and I really enjoy the thin design of the bottle instead.
Both Idôle and Idôle L'Intense are Eau de Parfum. Eau de Parfum has the highest concentration of fragrance - generally having a fragrance concentration of between 15% and 20%. On average, Eau de Parfum should last from four to five hours, if not more. This differs from Eau de Toilette which has a fragrance concentration of between 5% and 15%. Eau de Toilette is definitely one of the most popular types of fragrances and it's cheaper than EDP but it will normally only last for two to three hours.
Final Thoughts
Besides having the same bottle shape and similar longevity, I find these two scents to be completely different. Idôle's top notes of pear and bergamot make it sweeter and as it settles throughout the day, you start to smell the florals with vanilla and musk. On the other hand, Idôle L'Intense has a stronger opening of roses and orange which adds bitterness to the smell and it's more spicy and aromatic.
In my opinion, you can't hate them both - you will either enjoy both or like one more than the other. Idôle is the one I would personally pick out of the two, however I am enjoying Idôle L'Intense more now than when I first smelled it. I definitely see myself reaching for both and even layering the two together.
Once again, thank you Lancome for gifting me your fragrances!
I hope you enjoyed this review and comparison. As previously mentioned, I was also gifted La Vie Est Belle which I will be comparing soon to the new Soleil Cristal version. Let me know down in the comments which of the two you'd prefer and what other Lancome products you'd be interested to read about xo

Hi, dolls!
Today I will be reviewing the new Lancome Lash Idôle mascara. Lancome was kind enough to gift me their mascara to try, however just because I didn't purchase this product myself, it won't affect my review and opinions in any way. If you're interested to learn more about the mascara, let's get right into the review!
This post may contain gifted products and affiliate links meaning that if you click on the link and purchase the item, I will receive an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. However, my reviews/opinions on products are always 100% honest and I'll only recommend items that I love!
Lancome has launched their new Lash Idôle mascara at the end of January of this year. The mascara features a pioneering brush and revolutionary formulation, providing an instant lash lift, fanned-out volume effect with a weightless feel. Lash Idôle's revolutionary gel-emulsion formulation glides effortlessly over lashes to create a cushion-like coating. It's formula is infused with white tea extract, chosen to help maintain lash condition. This mascara is also ophthalmologist tested and suitable for sensitive eyes.
Firstly, I want to thank Lancome for reaching out and sending me this mascara to try out. I am always looking forward to trying new makeup and review them for you guys. I received this early morning and have been wearing it ever since. My first impression - wow! Lash Idôle mascara is very easy to apply on the eyes and has a nice gel-like formula. What I love about it the most is that just after one layer, you can already see its full effect, however you can still apply more for a fuller look. Just as described, this mascara is clump-free and it doesn't leave your eyes with the horrible spider effect. It made my lashes look much longer than they naturally are and it has this false-lashes effect which I love. In addition, the mascara is very lightweight which makes it so comfortable to use.
I also enjoyed the Lash Idôle mascara's brush - it's arch curved and it was engineered to capture every single lash, while its arc shape means it adapts to the lash fringe ensuring that even the smallest lashes are coated. I think the packaging also stands out from my other mascara's - it's sleek and modern and has a beautiful rose-gold touch added to it with graphic black accents and curved edges.
Final Thoughts
In the past, I would only use waterproof mascaras because my eyes tear a lot, especially if I'm outside and it's windy. However, I was really surprised because although Lancome's mascara is not waterproof, it didn't smudge or flake at all even after I have went out for my daily walk and it's quite windy today! I have now been wearing it for 6 hours and it looks exactly the same as when first applied. I am definitely going to be using this mascara more and if you remember my last mascara review, I much prefer the Lash Idôle over the Dior Lash Extension Effect Volume mascara. Seeing as it also comes in a travel size, it's a mascara I would recommend everyone to try because I'm sure you will love it just as much as I do.
Once again, thank you Lancome for gifting me this mascara - I truly enjoyed using it!
Let me know down below if you have tried Lancome's newest mascara and what other Lancome products (fragrance included) would you like me to review next? xo

Hi, dolls!
Happy Wednesday! Today, I will be reviewing Get Even Rose Oil by Wishful. I have been testing this product for over a month now and if you're interested to find out more, let's get right into it!
This post may contain affiliate links meaning that if you click on the link and purchase the item, I will receive an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. However, my reviews/opinions on products are always 100% honest and I'll only recommend items that I love!
Get Even Rose Oil locks in moisture, illuminates your tone and grants a glass-skin finish. It has 15 exceptionally nourishing oils, including Rosehip and Damascus rose and it's non-comedogenic. Carrot seed oil helps to moisturise and tighten your skin as it evens tone and texture. Plus, vitamin-rich baobab seed oil supplies your skin with omegas 3, 6 and other fatty acids to provide intensive nourishment. As Huda Kattan herself says - it's a genie in a bottle.
I received the Get Even Rose Oil in 10ml as a part of Wishful's Xmas gift set and after hearing so many mixed reviews on it, I decided to test it out myself. Firstly, I see a lot of people complain about it's scent. However, the Rose Oil has no added fragrance and the actual scent comes from the mix of the 15 oils. Personally, I don't think the scent is that bad and it's easy to get used to. My skin is very sensitive and although it's neither dry or oily, it does breakout easily, so I am very careful when it comes to using skincare products. I've tried almost every Wishful product and always had a great experience with all of them, especially the Thirst Trap serum which is my new Holy Grail!
Get Even Rose Oil is not your typical oil as it absorbs really quick comparing to other oils I've tried and it leaves my skin looking very radiant. You truly only need a tiny bit of the product and it will most likely last you a long time. After using it for a month, I did notice my dark spots fading away and disappearing. However, as I don't really have any acne scars or hyperpigmentation, I don't find this oil as a necessary part of my skincare routine. However, if you do have any dark spots, acne scars and hyperpigmentation I do strongly believe you will love this product.
Get Even Rose Oil should be used daily as the last step in your skin care routine (exception if you're using Wishful's Honey Balm, then apply Rose Oil before). For best results, use in the morning and at night. Apply generously to face and décolleté. Gently pat until fully absorbed.
Final Thoughts
I have never been disappointed in Wishful's products including the Get Even Rose Oil and I've tried almost every single one of them. This oil is very lightweight and absorbs really quickly into your skin, without leaving it looking greasy. You really only need a tiny bit of the product for a solid punch of hydration. My skin really enjoyed it and although being sensitive, the scent from the oils didn't really affect my skin in any way. I do think this is the perfect product if you're someone struggling with acne marks, dark spots or hyperpigmentation. You can also now try out the product in a travel size (10ml) before you purchase the full bottle.
I hope you have enjoyed this review! Let me know down below your thoughts about the Wishful's Get Even Rose Oil. Do you have any Wishful favourites? xo

Hi, dolls!
Today I am bringing you another 101 - a complete guide to layering your fragrances. If you're interested to learn more about what layering fragrances actually is and how to do it properly, let's get right into it!

What is Fragrance Layering?
Originally developed in the Middle East, fragrance layering is - quite simply - a technique which allows you to mix two or more scents together in order to create your own personal scent.
I actually learnt how to layer fragrances after Kayali has launched. For those of you that don't know, Kayali (translated from Arabic to 'my imagination') is a fragrance brand by Mona and Huda Kattan also known from Huda Beauty or Wishful. Kayali's fragrances are designed to be layered and combined together to create a scent that is truly yours. After completing my Kayali collection, I was able to mix scents together and later layer them with my other favourite fragrances.
How To Layer Fragrances?
There are many ways you can layer your fragrances together but it's important to remember to spray scents in order of intensity, so they don't get overpowered. Always spray the strongest scent first before topping it up with the lighter of the pair. However, layering fragrances doesn't mean you have to spray one scent on top of the other - you can spray one scent on your neck and the other on your wrist or even apply fragrance after using a scented lotion.
Best Combinations
When it comes to layering fragrances, there is no right or wrong. This is because layering allows you to find your own perfect, unique scent, so you are allowed to layer whatever fragrances you wish together. However, it's best to avoid combining two scents that are strong and heavy as they can be overwhelming when used together and even give you a headache. As already mentioned, it's best to apply a heavier scent first and a lighter one on top to create a nice layering.
Some of layering examples I've tried and loved
Full Reviews of Fragrances Mentioned Above
I hope you have enjoyed this post and learnt something new about fragrance layering. My current favourite layer is wearing Citrus by Kayali on top of Good Girl. Let me know your favourite combos in the comments down below! xo
PS. This post is in no way sponsored by Mona but I just had to add it because her entire Kayali collection is incredible and she truly knows her fragrance stuff. If you want to learn more about layering fragrances, I truly recommend you to check out and follow Mona Kattan's instagram page. She does incredible posts about fragrances and gives so many great and useful tips.

Hi, dolls!
Coming back to you with another skincare review, this time focusing on the new Wishful Thirst Trap Juice HA3 Peptide serum. I've been using this serum for the past two weeks and if you're interested to learn more about it, let's get right into it!
This post may contain affiliate links meaning that if you click on the link and purchase the item, I will receive an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. However, my reviews/opinions on products are always 100% honest and I'll only recommend items that I love!
The super-potent ingredients from Wishful's original Thirst Trap Cocoon Mask have been boosted with three types of Hyaluronic Acid (HA3) and firming peptides to hydrate and strengthen your skin. Moisturising Hollyhock Rose and soothing Aloe Vera nourish your skin, leaving it bouncy and supple. The result is deeply hydrated skin that feels immediately plump, bouncy and healthier over time.
I've been using this serum for about two weeks now and I'm truly obsessed. This serum does exactly what is says it will do. My skin feels super hydrated and soft after each use. I had zero breakouts from it and this serum hasn't irritated my sensitive skin in any way. I can honestly admit this has become my new Holy Grail in skincare and I will be for sure repurchasing this.
Before trying the serum, I was already in love with Wishful's Thirst Trap Cocoon mask which I think is a great way of trying out the product if you cannot afford the serum. After all, this serum was inspired by the mask. I have a separate review of the Thirst Trap Cocoon mask you can read here.
Hyaluronic Acid - Holds up to 1000 times its weight in water creating a plumping effect while it also forms a moisturising film on the surface of the skin for visible, surface-level hydration.
Sodium Hyaluronate - Penetrates the upper layers of the skin and helps to smooth out fine lines.
Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid - Works to hydrate the deeper layers of the skin and has powerful regenerating properties.
Peptides - Plumps, firms and reduces the appearance of fine lines by stimulating collagen production.
Hollyhock Rose - Native to Asia and Europe, this plant has excellent hydrating properties.
Aloe Vera - Known for its ability to soothe skin and boost hydration.
This is one of the best serums I have ever tried. I've tried almost every Wishful product, except the Cleansing Balm and I have enjoyed all. If I had to pick my favourite, it would definitely be the Thirst Trap serum! As mentioned above, if you can't afford the serum I do recommend everyone to try out their Thirst Trap Cocoon mask because that's what the serum is based on.
Have you tried anything from Wishful yet? If so, what's your favourite product? Let me know down in the comments and stay tuned for my next post! xo
