Ariana Grande Thank You, Next Fragrance Review

Hi, dolls!

Coming back to you today with another fragrance review, this time focusing on Ariana's Thank You, Next perfume. I have to be honest and say that when I first tried it out, I didn't really like the scent. However, as I sprayed it on myself and the scent stayed on me for the day, I realised that I'm starting to love it. This is when I made the decision to get this fragrance because I couldn't get it off my mind lol!

Ariana's newest fragrance bursts opens with juicy notes of sparkling white pear and wild raspberry that soften with a heart of creamy coconut and delicate pink, rose petals.

Top Notes: White Pear, Wild Raspberry
Heart Notes: Creme de Coconut, Pink Rose Petals
Base Notes: Macaroon Sugar, Velvet Musk

At first, you can smell the sweet, milky coconut scent. As it settles throughout the day, it gets sexier and you start to smell the white pear and its bottom note of velvet musk as it becomes more apparent. It's super sweet and sexy but in a very good way. I think it's just the right amount of coconut, white pear and wild raspberry which gives the perfect mix. In my opinion, a lot of people might feel like me at first and not like it because the first time you try it, you might find it too sweet or too much but once it settles on your skin and throughout the day, you will definitely start to love it more!

The bottle and packaging is also super cute and very different from other fragrances I have in my collection. It comes in a broken heart holder, with its pink theme of course. The bottle is pink but see-through, topped with a glow of pink XOXO cap, which stays within the theme of the THANK YOU, NEXT music video. The top of the cap has another broken heart, fitting well with the perfume holder, which you can gladly show off on your vanity.

This fragrance definitely lasts long and you don't need to spray it more than once or twice during the day - it is eau de Parfum after all. Eau de Parfum has the highest concentration of fragrance - generally having a fragrance concentration of between 15% and 20%. On average, eau de Parfum should last from four to five hours, if not more. This differs from Eau de Toilette which has a fragrance concentration of between 5% and 15%. Eau de Toilette is definitely one of the most popular types of fragrance and it is definitely cheaper than eau de Parfum (in case some of you were wondering why Ariana's fragrance price is high) but it will normally only last for two to three hours.

Final Thoughts
Although the first time I tried this perfume I didn't like it, now I totally love it. I think this is the only celebrity fragrance I really like, and if I didn't know it was Ariana's, I'd definitely think it's some high-end perfume brand. When it comes to fragrances, it all really depends on your preferences but for me, I really like it. I don't really have favourites, and I tend to like all kinds of perfumes, but if you like sweet, coconut scents, then this one is definitely for you. I never suggest buying fragrances blindly online, I am definitely someone who prefers to check it out before buying it. I believe that by now this fragrance is available in all stores around the world, so you can go ahead and check the scent out before ordering online or in-store. For those of you that are big fans of Ariana's fragrances, I sadly cannot compare it to any of her others scents as this is the only one I tried out so far.

I hope that you have enjoyed another of my fragrance reviews and definitely stay tuned for more! Let me know down in the comments you're thoughts about this fragrance, and whether or not you have tried it! xo

  1. I don't typically go for pop star fragrances or fragrances based on a single person..but I will say that bottle is beautiful and creative.
I don't have any issues with Ariana, I actually love her voice, I just enjoy other types of perfumes, mostly deep, sexy earthy scents with cedarwood, musk and other notes of deep florals...these type of scents seem to last alot longer than a fruity or super floral scent.
I've been trying to convert to Cruelty Free and mostly vegan skincare and makeup, trying to dip into brands that hold those same standards when it comes to perfumes is difficult. Wild Spirit, Sol de Janero & Tokyomilk are all CF though and make some delicious scents!
Thanks for the j fo as always babe! XOXO 😘

  6. I had no idea what the difference was between Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum so thank you for explaining that. It's also good to know that even though it starts out sweet (which I don't like) it will change after a little bit of time. Excellent review, thanks!

  7. I do enjoy trying out a celebrity fragrance. I’m the same as you, sometimes I don’t like a fragrance when I spray it on but once you give it time to settle it can turn out lovely!
