As mentioned above, I decided to reach for all 3 mini palettes and pass on the big one as lately I'm more into mini eyeshadow palettes. From the lip products, I decided to go for two lip glosses and pass on the lipsticks as the colours didn't really stand out to me. From the lip glosses, I went for Monica's and Rachel's gloss and I also really wanted Joey's but that was sold out by the time I was making my order. Although the mini palettes and lipsticks are created after the 3 girls, the lip glosses are created after the 6 Friends - each in a different shade of course. Once again, I don't think all these shade would work well on my skin tone but I'm glad there's something for everyone from light nudes to deep plum colours. The collection also includes accessories such as a mirror in the shape of the yellow door frame, 3 scrunchies and makeup bags but sadly all were sold out when I placed my order but once there is a restock, I would definitely love to grab the mirror and the scrunchies!

Makeup Revolution has also already announced that part 2 of the Revolution x Friends collab will be coming before the end of 2020, so I'm super hyped about it already and can't wait to grab that too! I'm aware that this collection might not be for everyone but for a Friend fan like myself this collab is a dream come true! Can anyone make a Gossip Girl collab next?! xo
Revolution x Friends Monica palette features 9 copper and warm neutral shades to help you recreate Monica's 90's inspired makeup look. Plus, add a sultry pop of burgundy or some shimmer to take your look to a SEVEN! The Monica palette is encased in an easy, travel-friendly square compact with the iconic Friends door frame on the cover - perfect to keep for yourself or as a gift to your fellow Friends lover.
I didn't know what to expect from this Friends collab palettes quality wise but knowing how much I like other Revolution's palettes, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. I was right! This palette is super pigmented, I definitely can tell a big difference between this palette's formula and quality as it's much higher than a regular Revolution palette which in my opinion is already good enough for a drug-store product. I also really love the fact that each shade in this palette has a name that links to Monica.
Monica's palette swatches like a dream but also applies amazingly on the eyes. It's super pigmented and I'm sure it will work great on all skin tones. Geller Cup, Frizzy and Obsessive are pressed pigments meaning that they might require a sticky base such as concealer or an eyeshadow base for its pigment to show up. Some pressed pigments can leave a stain but in many cases, it's not as bad, or at least I never had a problem with pressed pigments leaving stains on my eyes. Plus, any good makeup remover should help with removing any stains left by pressed pigments. Geller Cup has to be my favourite shade from the palette but all the mattes are truly super pigmented and easy to blend. Clean can do a great job as a highlight and Chef is a stunning gold shimmer!

Revolution x Friends Phoebe palette features 9 neutral shades to help you recreate Phoebe's 90's inspired makeup look. Plus, add a pop of coral or some shimmer or even glitter! to take your look to a "Oh actually, no, I look good" level. The Phoebe palette is encased in an easy, travel-friendly square compact with the iconic Friends taxi on the cover - perfect to keep for yourself or as a gift to your fellow Friends lover.
When I first saw the palettes online, I thought that the Phoebe palette will be my least favourite out of the 3 minis. However, once I opened it I realised that it might just be my favourite! It's a stunning, neutral, everyday palette that allows you to create super cute and quick makeup looks. I love that they added a glitter shade
Science Boy which I recommend applying using your finger.

How beautiful is this palette? Similarly to Monica's palette, all the shades swatch so well and are super pigmented. I loveeee the glitter shade Science Boy and Triplet has to be the cutest shade of pink. This is definitely going to become my go-to everyday palette because it's super soft-glam and cute! Just like the Monica palette, this also has pressed pigments - Smelly Cat, Lobster, Buffay and Science Boy. These will apply best after using a sticky base such as any eyeshadow base or concealer. You can also use a glitter glue for Science Boy for the best results.
Revolution x Friends Rachel palette features 9 neutral shades to help you recreate Rachel's signature makeup look. Plus, add a vibrant pop of pink or some shimmer to your look and you'll never be able to take a break from this palette! The Rachel palette is encased in an easy, travel-friendly square compact with the iconic Friends Central Perk's sofa on the cover - perfect to keep for yourself or as a gift to your fellow Friends lover.

After the collection was first announced and shared on social media, I found Rachel's palette to stand out the most and be the most unique out of the 3 minis. Rachel is my favourite Friend, so I knew I had to get this palette! All 3 palettes have the same amazing formula and great quality, all swatching like a dream and performing even better on the eyes. I do recommend using a sticky base as mentioned already because some of the shadows are pressed pigments and they will show off better if your eyelids are not set. The two pressed pigments in the Rachel palette are Barneys and Pushover.
This palette definitely gives out Rachel's vibes plus the names make it even more unique. Chip and Tag have to be my favourites but also Pushover is a super pigmented matte that performs amazingly on the eye. You only get 9 shades in this palette but you have so many options to create either an everyday or a full-glam going-out look!
The collectable Friends X Revolution lip gloss is designed to channel each character vibes, each having a unique illustration design - Rachel having the Central Perk logo, Ross having the Monkey and Phoebe having the Lobster. Each lip gloss provides an intense colour pay-off, with a wet look finish.
The collectable Friends X Revolution lip gloss is designed to channel each character vibes, each having a unique illustration design - Monica having the frame, Chandler the Turkey and Joey having a Sandwich. Each lip gloss provides an intense colour pay-off, with a wet look finish.

As mentioned already, I have only picked two lip glosses as the third one I wanted - Joey's was already sold out. Monica's gloss is a medium mauve neutral and Rachel is a clear gloss. Both glosses have a beautiful coconut scent, which differs from Revolution's other lip glosses which I recently reviewed (read the review
HERE) which had a watermelon scent. The scent is very pleasant and definitely not too strong because I know not everyone likes that in their lip products. I personally don't mind it as long as the scent isn't too heavy which is this case here. I found Rachel's gloss to be my favourite because I love a good clear gloss, however Monica's gloss looks much nicer swatched on my hand than on the lips. Monica's gloss has crystal shimmers which almost hurt once applied on the lips and make me feel super uncomfortable, so for this reason I will probably give it away to someone who will make a better use of it.
