Hi, dolls!
In today's blog post, I will be reviewing the new Huda Beauty Gold Obsessions Palette. This palette is exclusive to Cult Beauty, created by Huda to celebrate their five years of partnership. This 9-pan palette was inspired by honey onyx stone that Huda was putting in her house. If you're interested to see how this palette performs, let's get right into the review!

When I first saw this palette online, I immediately fell in love. You don't usually see gold eyeshadow palettes this good! I have tried many Huda's eyeshadow palettes and to be quite honest with you, I have always prefered her mini palettes than the big ones. This palette reminded me a bit of Huda's Medium Mini Nude eyeshadow palette, but since I don't have that in my collection, I was excited to get the Gold one. Since this palette is exclusive to Cult Beauty only, they are doing free shipping on all Huda's orders until the end of November, so I believe this makes international orders also free of charge!

I've put this palette on my Xmas wish list, but I have later decided to buy it myself in case it gets sold out. It arrived within two days - I was super excited to test it out! This palette swatches like a dream! Quality-wise it's just as good as the mini light nude palette, which is one of my favourites. I haven't noticed much fallout when applying it onto my eyelids, definitely nothing too crazy or annoying. Most of the shimmers in this palette as well as the metallics and toppers will show up better if applied with a finger rather than a brush. This method has actually been something Huda's been advising to do for ages  and I do like it!

Huda's Gold Obsessions Eyeshadow palette has 4 formulas

A new texture, Gold Flake Metallic Shimmer- a stunning shimmer shade blended with a light pink shimmer base and sprinkled with decadent gold flakes, sure to leave your lids striking gold.
Mattes - Huda's classing matte formula in 3 dynamic shades
Shimmer Topper - a light-reflecting formula that leaves a pearlescent, peachy-golden glow reminiscent of the golden hour.
Extra-High Shine Metallics - Huda's classic metallic formulas have been improved to create two high-shine gold foils.

Final Thoughts
This might be the best palette released in 2020! As previously mentioned, I do seem to prefer Huda's mini palettes over her big ones, I just find them to perform much better and they are way easier to carry around. Gold Obsessions palette is amazing, I haven't had any issues while using it. Although I wasn't the biggest fan of Huda's Pastel collection, I do think she stepped up with the formula, making this palette super pigmented and just as good as her Nude collection. I hope this palette doesn't run out of stock on Cult Beauty because it's a great one to have in your collection! Who knows, maybe Huda will add a Silver and Bronze palette and make this a collection too?

Let me know down in the comments what you think about the new Gold Obsession palette. Will you be picking it up? If it's on your wish list, check out my instagram giveaway down below! xo

I hope you find this post helpful and if you're interested and want to get some gift ideas, let's get right into the review!

The Mini Nude palettes from Huda Beauty have to be her best palettes out there. They come in 3 different versions of nude - light, medium and rich, so all skin types can find their best nude shades. Each gift set also includes one mini liquid lipstick matching the palette. These gift sets are the best gift option for any makeup lover!

Personally, I think Soft Glam is Anastasia's best eyeshadow palette. This year, ABH has created a Soft Glam Luxe Set which includes the Soft Glam palette, a mini mascara and mini lipstick - there are two shades to pick from - either Vintage (Victorian Rose) or Crush (Soft Beige). Seeing as the palette alone costs £46 this is a great value set which will make a great present for any makeup lover!

Hi, dolls!
I was inspired to create another Beauty Blogger Tag answering questions after watching Mona Kattan's newest youtube video but this time making it fragrance edition. In her video titled "Fun & Fragrances with Demi Rawling" both Mona and Demi talk about which fragrances remind them of different people/times in their lives. I thought this was super fun and decided to create my own version using some of their questions - I hope you enjoy it! Let's get right into it xo

PS. This post has been inspired by Mona Kattan's
youtube video (CLICK TO WATCH)

1. What was your first fragrance?
It's a tricky question because I honestly can't remember! I remember being obsessed with Hollister's body sprays and wanting to get all of them. Fragrance wise, I think it was Bruno Banani Pure Woman and Katy Perry Killer Queen - I got both at the same time. I was obsessed with the Killer Queen bottle!
2. Which fragrance reminds you of your first love?

The fragrance which reminds me of my boyfriend has to be Gold by Kim Kardashian West. It was the first gift I've received from him before we started our relationship - it will always remind me of him!
3. Which fragrance reminds you of your mother?
Any DKNY fragrance because my mum is a big fan of DKNY! However, the one that reminds me the most of her has to be DKNY Be Delicious.
4. What is your go-to fragrance to wear on a date night?
Good Girl by Carolina Herrera - the sexiest scent out there for sure!
5. What is your favourite celebrity fragrance?

I love Ariana's fragrances! They are definitely worth its price - all smell incredible and are super long lasting. My favourite is Thank You, Next but I think the newest one - REM - will be my number one once I buy iy!
6. What fragrance do you like to smell on a man?
I love when my boyfriend wears Paco Rabanne Invictus and Calvin Klein One.
7. What is your favourite fragrance at the moment?

It's super hard but it's a tie between Kayali Vanilla and Carolina Herrera Good Girl!
8. Which fragrance do you regret buying, if any?

I never regret buying fragrances because I always make sure I like them before I buy them. However, I received one as a gift which I ended up disliking - it was the DKNY Women Energising.
9. One fragrance you can't stop repurchasing?

Well, since I'm on my 3rd bottle already - it has to be KVD Saint fragrance. I really hope they carry on selling it because it's one of my favourites!

10. What fragrance do you want to buy next?

Ariana Grande REM and Kayali Citrus!
I also need to repurchase Carolina's Good Girl and Kayali's Deja Vu.

Hi, dolls!
I have recently won another giveaway hosted by Alyssa Galarza and was lucky enough to receive Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum. Ever since Fenty Skin has launched I wanted to try it out, however, it's still not available in the UK and ordering from the US means customs which I prefer to avoid. For this reason, I was super happy to receive this as part of the giveaway! It's been exactly 4 weeks since I have started testing this and if you're interested to find out more about it, let's get right into the review!

Before the review begins, I just wanted to give Alyssa a quick shoutout - she's an amazing person who hosts the best authentic giveaways over on her instagram. She's also super talented and has great songs which you should all check out on Apple Music and Spotify. Check her socials out, you won't regret it!

A 2-in-1 toner-serum combo that targets pores, improves the look of dark spots, brightens, smooths, and fights shine - all without stripping skin. It's oil-free, noncomedogenic and for all skin types. Clean, vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free. It also has streamlined packaging for less waste - no box or shrink wrap. Both the bottle and cap are recyclable, so when you're done, you can separate the two and recycle both.

I didn't know what to expect from this but what happened to my skin is simply amazing. My pores have completely shrunk and my skin feels super smooth. It's super lightweight and absorbs into the skin pretty fast.  It has a very pleasant scent, I can't explain what it smells like but it's very soft and not strong off-putting fragrance. When I first squeezed the product into my hands, I was shocked by its lightweight gel texture and how fast it soaks into my skin, leaving it super hydrated and glowing almost immediately. Ever since I have been using this toner-serum, my skin hasn't broke out not even once and I've noticed so much improvement this added to my skin. I have completely switched to this toner and I think I need to repurchase it no matter the custom charge because it has become my new Holy Grail beauty product.

Main Ingredients
  • NIACINAMIDE - helps reduce the look of dark spots, even skin tone and fight excess shine
  • BARBADOS CHERRY (ACEROLA) - every cherry is loaded with more vitamin C than an orange to help brighten
  • CACTUS FLOWER - thrives in the desert - helps to hydrate
  • GREEN TEA & FIG - rich in antioxidants to help defend against environmental stressors
  • JAPANESE RAISIN TREE - helps to detoxify
  • AUSTRALIAN LEMON MYRTLE & WITCH HAZEL WATER - helps to reduce oil and refine pores

Final Thoughts
Out of all the products I have been testing for the past year, this has been one that made me want to stock up because it's been amazing for my skin and honestly became my favourite skincare product. I haven't seen that much improvement on my skin ever before and even though there are other pretty amazing products I like, this has been my favourite. Although I have pretty sensitive skin and try to go for fragrance-free products, I feel like this hasn't irritated my skin in any way. It's one skincare product I recommend everyone to try out and I hope that it launches in the UK soon, so we can all stock up on this asap!

Let me know down in the comments what your favourite toner/serum is at the moment and if you have tried any of the Fenty Skin products yet? If so, which ones? xo
